Hyundai Motor Group sold 1.836 million vehicles in the U.S. market in 2025, capturing an 11.3% market share—the highest since it entered the U.S. market in 1986. Despite pressure from high tariffs imposed by the U.S. on imported vehicles, Hyundai successfully enhanced its competitiveness by effectively limiting price increases and accelerating local production. Currently, Hyundai Motor Group ranks fourth in the U.S. market, trailing General Motors (17.5%), Toyota (15.5%), and Ford (13.1%).
