On January 17, 300 new energy vehicles (NEVs) were safely transported from Wuhan, Hubei Province, to Xiamen Yuanhai Terminal via container and successfully loaded onto the vessel "COSCO Abu Dhabi" for export to the Port of Gdansk, Poland. This shipment marks the first cross-provincial rail-sea intermodal NEV export operation handled by Xiamen Port in 2026, signifying that the logistics corridor—“Made in Hubei, Exported via Xiamen”—has entered a new phase of regular, efficient operations. This integrated model effectively combines rail and maritime resources, offering a stable and swift new route for inland NEV exports.
