On January 15, FAW Audi announced at its "Ten-Million User Celebration" that it has surpassed 10 million cumulative users in China, becoming the first joint-venture premium brand to reach this milestone. At the same event, the all-new Audi Q5L—built on the new PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) intelligent combustion-engine platform—was officially launched, with prices ranging from RMB 309,800 to RMB 384,800. The new Q5L features Huawei's Qiankun Smart Driving system, HDI dual-motor full-domain hybrid technology, and the fifth-generation EA888 engine, embodying the concept of "equal intelligence for both ICE and electrified models." FAW Audi also outlined its goal to achieve annual sales of 700,000 units by 2030, advancing vehicle intelligence through its dual-platform strategy: PPC (for combustion and hybrid models) and PPE (for pure electric vehicles). Upcoming models such as the A6L e-tron and Q9 will be successively introduced, alongside deeper collaborations with leading Chinese tech companies like Huawei and CATL, further elevating its "In China, For China" strategic initiative.
