At the Chery AI Night 2026 event held on January 17, the all-new "next-generation intelligent and stylish coupe," the Fengyun A9, made its official debut. The vehicle has launched a public crowdfunding campaign—users can participate by paying RMB 999 and, upon successful completion of the campaign, will receive exclusive configurations worth RMB 8,000, including AI-powered mic-free karaoke, premium custom paint, an intercom system operable through closed windows, and a light-sensing power tailgate. The crowdfunding campaign runs until March 31, 2026, with a target of 5,000 participants; refunds are available for those who do not proceed with a purchase. The Fengyun A9 features the "Lingfeng Design" exterior and "Yangfan Yingyun" interior theme. It is equipped with the AI Boya Audio System, the AI Lingxi Intelligent Cockpit (featuring the Carmind AI agent and a 3nm Snapdragon 8678 chip), and the Falcon Driving Assistance System—complete with LiDAR, supporting both urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) with a computing power of 128 TOPS.
