On January 16, Cao Cao Mobility announced the pilot launch of an "Automatic Lost Item Reporting" feature. Leveraging a large vision AI model, the system intelligently identifies high-value items left behind in vehicles—such as smartphones, laptops, and backpacks—and proactively reports them in real time. The feature has already been deployed on over 1,300 customized Robotaxis and successfully handled more than 10 cases of lost smartphones within its first 10 days of operation, significantly improving the efficiency of recovering lost belongings. This initiative aims to enhance the Robotaxi user experience and address the common issue of passengers leaving items behind. Cao Cao Mobility stated that it will continue refining this technology to build a more efficient automated service system.
