At the 18th China Automotive News Consumer Vehicle Awards, Horizon Robotics Vice President Lyu Peng stated that intelligent driving is transitioning from a premium-exclusive feature to widespread adoption across all price segments, entering a new era of "intelligent driving democratization." He emphasized that computing power determines the upper limit of user experience, while algorithms determine the ability to deliver on that potential—both must advance in synergy. To this end, Horizon has launched a "high-compute + high-throughput" solution. Its Journey 6 series chips now power over 100 vehicle models and have partnerships with more than 20 automakers. The HSD full-scenario advanced driver-assistance system, built on the Journey 6P chip and dubbed "China's FSD," features human-like reasoning, anthropomorphic vehicle control, and superhuman reaction capabilities. To date, HSD has secured定点 (design wins) from over 10 automakers, with more than 20 models progressively launching in the market. Horizon currently collaborates with over 40 automotive brands, has achieved mass production in over 200 vehicle models, and has shipped more than 10 million units for factory-installed deployments. Over the next three to five years, HSD is expected to reach multi-million-unit scale production, accelerating the widespread adoption of full-scenario intelligent driving.
