Xiaomi Auto recently upgraded its app to enhance the points-based charging feature. Starting immediately, users can use their points to offset both electricity and service fees when using charging services. This feature is available at select third-party partner charging stations and supports both QR code initiation and plug-and-charge scenarios, with automatic point deduction applied by default. If a user’s points balance is insufficient, the system will prioritize deducting service fees first, and any remaining amount must be paid separately as prompted. It should be noted that charging invoices are issued only for the actual cash payment made; the portion covered by points will not be included in the invoiced amount. Previously, Xiaomi Auto points were primarily used for purchases in the official online store, with an exchange rate of 1 point = RMB 0.1.
