Faurecia's intelligent seat frame project at the Jiaxing National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone will enter phased mass production starting in May 2026. Focused on manufacturing next-generation intelligent seat frames, the project breaks away from traditional designs by optimizing materials to enhance structural efficiency and safety performance, while integrating multiple advanced features aligned with the evolving trends of intelligent cockpits. With a planned capacity sufficient to meet the demand for approximately 2.879 million complete vehicle seat systems, the project is expected to generate additional revenue of around RMB 3.21 billion within five years of full operation, significantly strengthening the local intelligent automotive cockpit supply chain. As a global leader in automotive technology, Faurecia will leverage its technological expertise to drive the evolution of new-energy vehicle cockpits toward greater intelligence, comfort, and health-monitoring capabilities.
