According to a notice from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), domestic gasoline and diesel prices will each rise by RMB 85 per ton, effective at 24:00 on January 20. On a national average basis, the retail prices of Grade 92 gasoline, Grade 95 gasoline, and Grade 0 diesel will each increase by RMB 0.07 per liter. For a typical family car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling up with Grade 92 gasoline will cost approximately RMB 3.5 more. This adjustment follows recent upward fluctuations in international crude oil prices and was calculated in accordance with China’s current refined oil pricing mechanism.
