The 2026 Volkswagen Lavida has officially launched, offering seven variants with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price ranging from RMB 120,900 to RMB 143,900. For a limited time, the starting price is as low as RMB 83,800. The new Lavida continues Volkswagen’s family design language and is available in four exterior colors: Mystic Black, Opening White, Tianzhen Blue, and Culture Silver, paired with either 15- or 16-inch alloy wheels. It measures 4,678 mm in length, 1,806 mm in width, and 1,474 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,688 mm. Inside, buyers can choose between Black and Mist Grey interior color schemes. Standard features include an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch central infotainment touchscreen. Higher trims come equipped with Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems, supporting full-speed adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist. The top-tier variant further adds power-adjustable and heated front driver’s seats. Powertrain options include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (81 kW / 141 N·m) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (118 kW / 250 N·m) paired with a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission.
