Audi officially unveiled its Formula 1 car and new team livery on January 20, 2026, in Berlin, Germany, marking the German automaker's formal entry into the 2026 F1 World Championship. Audi had previously acquired the Sauber Group and will take over the grid slot currently held by Kick Sauber, while also developing its own power unit compliant with the new regulations. This launch marks the fourth new F1 team reveal of the year, following three other teams. The event was streamed live at 19:00 Beijing time (13:00 Eastern Time) via Audi’s official F1 website. With sweeping technical regulation changes set for the 2026 season, Audi will compete alongside the newly entered Cadillac team and Red Bull Racing, which will use Ford-powered engines—ushering in a highly unpredictable competitive landscape for the new season.
