Recently, spy photos of the new Cadillac XT5 plug-in hybrid variant undergoing road testing have been revealed. The vehicle is equipped with the "Zhenlong PHEV Pro" system, combining a 1.5T engine (115 kW) and a 165 kW electric motor, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 210 km and an impressive combined range of up to 1,600 km. It features triple AI intelligent control algorithms and COOLGRID thermal management technology, ensuring stable performance even at -30°C. The Ultium 2.0 NMC battery supports 5C ultra-fast charging, replenishing from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. Exterior styling carries over the current model’s design, highlighted by a blacked-out grille, LiDAR sensors, and a floating roof. Inside, a dual-screen setup is featured, potentially powered by the Snapdragon 8775P chip and supporting a next-generation intelligent cockpit based on the Xiaoyao architecture. For driver assistance, the vehicle integrates LiDAR with Momenta’s R6 large model to enable full-scenario intelligent driving capabilities.
