On January 21, the 2026 BMW iX1 all-electric compact SUV officially launched in China, with prices ranging from RMB 228,000 to RMB 268,000. The new model features comprehensive upgrades, including the addition of 5G connectivity and the discontinuation of the optional BMW Digital Key Plus. The M Sport Package has been renamed the “M Performance Sport Package,” while the M Sport Shadow Night Edition now includes new personalized features such as a high-gloss black aluminum roof-mounted luggage rack. Exterior dimensions remain unchanged, with multiple paint finishes and wheel options available. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch central touchscreen running the latest iDrive 9 system, offering various interior color schemes. Powertrain options include a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version (150 kW) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant (230 kW). All models are equipped with a 66.45 kWh battery pack, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 450 km and 510 km, respectively.
