On January 21, Li Auto officially rolled out OTA version 8.2, focusing on enhancing driving comfort and practicality in urban environments. In terms of driver assistance, the upgraded VLA Driver Large Model now incorporates reinforcement learning to improve vehicle-following smoothness and decision-making strategies in complex scenarios such as traffic congestion and mixed pedestrian-vehicle zones. The update also enables voice- or navigation-triggered automatic parking into ultra-fast charging stations and automatic opening of the charging port, covering over 1,400 ultra-fast charging stations. AD Pro chip-equipped models now gain city NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) capability, supporting features like traffic light recognition with automatic stop-and-go and autonomous lane changes. The intelligent cockpit introduces several new features, including Pet Mode, an AI Art Frame, narrow-road HUD display, rapid cabin heating, and driver-seat adjustment via facial recognition. Additionally, the game "Super Phantom Cat 2" is now available in the vehicle. For extended-range models, battery pre-heating has been added to improve charging efficiency in low temperatures. L and i series vehicles now support a “driver’s door only unlock” setting, enhancing safety for solo drivers.
