Chevrolet is considering offering more personalized, custom versions of the Corvette ZR1 to meet strong demand from high-end customers seeking exclusive configurations. Following last year’s limited-edition “Quail Silver” and the one-of-a-kind “Stars and Steel” model unveiled earlier this year, Phil Zak, Global Design Chief at Chevrolet, stated that the new ZR1 has attracted a broader customer base, with many expressing a desire for even more distinctive customization options. Although the brand is still in a “testing-the-waters” phase, customers have made their preferences clear: “I want this and that—just build it.” With the ZR1’s price now surpassing six figures, buyers are beginning to expect personalization services on par with Ferrari’s Tailor Made or Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programs. For this American-made supercar built in Kentucky, such expectations represent a significant validation of its value.
