On January 21, Changan Automobile and Midea Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Foshan to jointly build an intelligent "People · Car · Home" lifestyle ecosystem. The first model to implement this collaboration, the Changan Qiyuan Q05, will feature "Car-to-Home Control" functionality, enabling users to remotely control home appliances—such as air conditioners, lights, and robotic vacuum cleaners—via voice commands, supporting scenario-based operations like "Comfortable Arrival Home," "Worry-free Departure," and "Pet Care." This feature will debut on the Qiyuan series models and be delivered via OTA updates. Both parties are also advancing the development of "Home-to-Car Control," which will allow users to remotely start their vehicles and prepare them in advance from home. In 2025, Changan Automobile achieved annual sales of 2.913 million units, an 8.5% year-over-year increase, including 1.109 million new energy vehicles—a remarkable 51% year-over-year surge.
