GAC Group recently responded to investor inquiries regarding whether models such as the Trumpchi M8 would be sold through Huawei's consumer business channels. The company stated that the comprehensive cooperation framework agreement signed with Huawei Consumer Business Group on January 5 focuses on jointly building the HarmonyOS ecosystem, co-innovating in AI technologies, and developing intelligent cockpits. This collaboration aims to integrate both parties’ strengths in new energy vehicle manufacturing, operating systems, and global services to create globally competitive smart mobility solutions. GAC emphasized that this partnership is currently limited to strategic synergy at the technological and ecosystem levels and does not involve sales channels for now. Since 2017, GAC and Huawei have deepened cooperation across multiple areas, including hardware, software, cloud services, intelligent manufacturing, and premium smart new energy vehicle brands.
