Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. has recently filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation. Effective immediately, the company is recalling certain Tiggo 7 Pro (Explorer 06) and all-new Tiggo 7 1.6T models produced between April 1, 2025, and December 8, 2025, totaling 1,108 vehicles. The recall stems from a potential issue where the engine ECU branch wiring harness clip was not properly secured during the production and assembly process on some vehicles. This could lead to harness abrasion and, in extreme cases, cause the engine to stall while driving, posing a safety hazard. Chery will inspect the ECU wiring harness assembly on affected vehicles free of charge and, as necessary, repair or replace the harness to eliminate the safety risk.
