In response to recent online rumors claiming that Li Auto is "massively closing stores and laying off employees," the company issued a clear statement on January 23, calling such reports false. Li Auto stated that in 2025, it will only shut down and adjust a small number of underperforming mall-based retail outlets and has no plans for mass closures. According to the company's financial report, as of December 31, 2025, Li Auto operated 548 retail centers across 159 cities nationwide. Despite continued expansion of its sales network, the company delivered 406,000 vehicles in 2025, falling short of its original annual sales target.
