The all-new Kia Sportage will roll off the production line on February 7 at the Yueda Kia Smart Factory in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, and is scheduled to launch in March this year. As a mid-cycle refresh model, the new Sportage features comprehensive upgrades in exterior design, interior appointments, and intelligent technologies, and is endorsed by tennis legend Li Na. Exterior styling continues Kia’s "Opposites United" design philosophy, featuring star-map-inspired segmented LED daytime running lights, a horizontal black grille with chrome accents up front, and a full-width star-map taillight, rear spoiler, and dual-tone rear bumper at the back—enhancing visual width and adding depth. The vehicle measures 4,695 mm long, 1,865 mm wide, and 1,678 (or 1,680) mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. Inside, it debuts Kia’s next-generation ccNC intelligent infotainment system and introduces a large-size head-up display for the first time. In terms of intelligent driving, L2+ advanced driver-assistance systems are available across core trims, now including enhanced Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2) and Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA). Powertrain options include a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (147 kW) and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (180 kW), both paired with an automatic transmission.
