CATL Partners with Minyun Group to Build Urban Battery-Swap Network, Driving Green Transformation in Public Transport

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Fujian Provincial Automobile Transportation Group Co., Ltd. (Minyun Group) recently signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province. The two parties will deepen collaboration in key areas including vehicle aftermarket services, city-level battery swap network construction, and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies. This partnership aims to build a sustainable industrial ecosystem, accelerate the integration of new energy technologies with urban public transportation systems, support the optimization of urban energy structures, contribute to China’s “dual carbon” goals, and drive the transformation of public transportation toward a greener, low-carbon future.
