Geely's all-electric compact car, the Xingyuan, was officially launched in Indonesia under the name Geely EX2. The launch event took place at the SPIKE Airdome PIK2 Exhibition and Event Center in Jakarta. Since opening pre-orders in November 2023, the model has already secured over 1,500 orders. The EX2 marks Geely’s third new energy vehicle introduced in Indonesia, following the EX5 and STARRY EM-i, and is now being mass-produced at Geely’s local factory in Purwakarta. During the launch event, Geely also announced that its premium brands Zeekr and Lynk & Co will simultaneously enter the Indonesian market, further strengthening its high-end mobility portfolio. As a key model in Geely’s global strategy, the EX2 was previously launched in Brazil, where its compact design caters to urban commuting needs, supporting Geely’s efforts to advance Indonesia’s green transportation transition.
