FAW-Volkswagen plans to increase the share of new energy vehicle (NEV) sales to 60% by 2030. To achieve this goal, the company will launch 13 new models in 2026—seven NEVs and six internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles—marking the first time that the number of new NEVs exceeds that of ICE models. The seven NEVs will span three brands: Volkswagen, Audi, and Jetta. Under the Volkswagen brand, the lineup will include the Magotan PHEV, Tayron LPHEV, Sagitar LHEV, and two all-electric ID.AURA models. Audi will introduce the A6L e-tron based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). Jetta will unveil its first-ever NEV, the J01. The six ICE models will comprise the Sagitar S, Tayron S, all-new Talagon, Q5L, A6L, and the VS8 Black Warrior Edition. Starting in the second half of 2026, FAW-Volkswagen will maintain a launch cadence of six to eight new models annually, while proactively advancing marketing strategies and co-creation initiatives with customers to ensure each new model becomes a hit right off the production line.
