On January 26, Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, unveiled the company's AI strategic roadmap during an all-hands virtual meeting. He stated that 2026 is a pivotal year for becoming a leading AI company, and Li Auto aims to achieve Level 4 autonomous driving by no later than 2028. Li predicted that globally, no more than three companies will be capable of simultaneously developing foundational models, chips, operating systems, and embodied intelligence—and Li Auto is determined to be one of them, further solidifying its brand positioning in "embodied intelligence." On the product front, Li Auto launched its first AI glasses, Livis, on December 3, 2025. Weighing just 36 grams, the glasses feature ZEISS blue-light-blocking lenses, offer 18.8 hours of battery life, and start at RMB 1,999. Additionally, the company is establishing an AI R&D center in Silicon Valley focused on intelligent technology development and has already begun hiring. Li also confirmed that Li Auto will enter the humanoid robotics field and plans to launch related products as soon as possible.
