Zeekr recently unveiled its new plug-in hybrid SUV—the Zeekr 8X—scheduled to debut in China in 2026 before launching globally. Built on the SEA-S pure-electric architecture, the 8X features a plug-in hybrid system combining a 2.0T engine with an electric motor and a 70 kWh battery, delivering a pure-electric range of 328 km (CLTC). With an overall length of 5,100 mm and a wheelbase of 3,069 mm, the vehicle offers both five- and six-seat configurations, positioning it between the Zeekr 9X and 7X in the brand’s lineup. The exterior adopts a bold, boxy design language, highlighted by slim daytime running lights and a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, enabling advanced intelligent driving capabilities. The 2.0T engine produces a maximum output of 275 horsepower, and a future all-electric variant with triple motors is expected, boasting a combined output of up to 1,381 horsepower. Targeting premium family and business travel needs, the Zeekr 8X aims to strengthen the brand’s presence in the full-size electric SUV segment.
