According to overseas bloggers, Tesla China plans to launch a new model, the Model YL+, in mid-2026. The vehicle is expected to be equipped with an 88 kWh battery pack, potentially delivering a CLTC-rated range exceeding 800 kilometers. The Model YL+ is likely an upgraded version of the mid-to-large six-seat all-electric SUV, the Model YL, which Tesla is set to unveil in 2025. The Model YL features a 2+2+2 seating layout and measures 4,976 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,040 mm, maintaining Tesla’s signature minimalist design language. In terms of performance, the Model YL is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 340 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. It comes with an 82 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery, offering a CLTC range of 751 kilometers. Following a global delivery decline in 2025—delivering 1.6361 million vehicles, down from 1.789 million in 2024—Tesla has rolled out promotional measures such as insurance subsidies and seven-year low-interest loans to boost sales.
