Dongfeng Nissan's all-new midsize five-seater new energy SUV, the NX8, has officially rolled off the production line and is expected to launch in March–April this year. The vehicle will be available in both extended-range and battery-electric variants, featuring the brand’s new energy family design language with elements such as a full-width daytime running light strip and flush door handles. Measuring 4,870 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,680 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm, the NX8 offers exceptional interior space. The extended-range version pairs a 1.5T engine (109 kW) with a 195 kW electric motor and uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, achieving a top speed of 180 km/h. The pure electric variant is built on an 800V silicon carbide platform and comes in two single-motor configurations—215 kW and 250 kW—both equipped with CATL LFP batteries and supporting 5C ultra-fast charging technology.
