Following the launch of three generations of increasingly larger all-electric models, the smart brand has officially announced its new all-electric urban compact car—the smart #2—scheduled for its global debut by the end of 2026. Developed by Smart Automobile Co., Ltd. (a joint venture between Geely Auto Group and Mercedes-Benz), the smart #2 is positioned as a more compact and city-friendly electric vehicle, further enriching smart’s product lineup in the all-electric segment. This move also underscores smart’s continued focus on urban mobility scenarios and accelerates the implementation of its electrification and globalization strategies.
