SAIC's IM Motors has officially released the official images of its flagship SUV, the LS9 HYPER. Positioned as a full-size SUV, the LS9 measures 5,279 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,806 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. Its exterior design carries over from the current model but adds HYPER-exclusive badging. Inside, the cabin features a 27.1-inch 5K integrated display and a 15.6-inch passenger entertainment screen. It is equipped with a 520-line LiDAR sensor and NVIDIA’s Thor chip, enabling urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) as well as automated parking capabilities. The chassis incorporates the Lynx Digital Chassis 3.0, four-wheel steering (with a turning radius of just 4.95 meters), and the MKC2 brake-by-wire system, achieving 100% regenerative braking energy recovery. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5T range extender (114 kW) paired with a tri-motor all-wheel-drive system—featuring a 160 kW front motor and dual 195 kW rear motors—and a 65.9 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, delivering a WLTC pure-electric range of 308 kilometers.
