BYD Dynasty Network is set to launch its new flagship large six-seater SUV—the "Datang"—positioned above the Tang L and marking the brand's first D-segment full-size SUV. The production model closely mirrors the design of the Dynasty-D concept car, featuring a futuristic "Dragon Face" front fascia with an integrated LED light bar forming "dragon whiskers" and illuminated Chinese character badging. Measuring over 5.2 meters in length and 2 meters in width, with a wheelbase of approximately 3.1 meters, the vehicle boasts a floating roof and silver-finished D-pillar accents that enhance its premium appearance. Interior highlights include distinctive "Starry Sky" door handles. In terms of technology and performance, the Datang will be equipped with BYD’s "God’s Eye B" intelligent driving system featuring LiDAR, the Yunniu-P intelligent chassis control system, and rear-wheel steering. All variants are expected to come standard with all-wheel drive, offering both dual-motor and triple-motor configurations. Priced around RMB 350,000, the Datang will directly compete with luxury SUVs in the same price segment.
