On January 29, XPeng Motors announced that reservations for the 2026 XPeng X9 all-electric variant have officially opened, with an immediate booking incentive of RMB 2,000 off RMB 7,000 toward the purchase price. The new model comes standard across all trims with 5C ultra-fast charging technology, delivering a CLTC range of 750 km and an energy consumption of just 15.9 kWh per 100 km. As the world’s longest-range 5C all-electric seven-seat MPV, the X9 EV features three rows of electric “tri-fold” seats, offering flexible seating configurations for four, five, six, or seven passengers. It also includes standard zero-gravity seats equipped with airbags that recline to a full 180° flat position, along with a central aisle measuring up to 180 mm wide. Additionally, the vehicle comes standard with active rear-wheel steering (achieving a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters), intelligent dual-chamber air suspension, a run-flat stability system, and XPeng’s Turing chip. Its AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system is now effective at speeds up to 130 km/h, and the onboard computing platform delivers a peak AI performance of 2,250 TOPS.
