Hyundai Motor America has announced a recall of 568,576 vehicles, while Kia America is recalling 42,677 vehicles, totaling over 610,000 cars. The recall stems from a defect in the instrument cluster display that may cause critical information—such as speedometer readings, tire pressure alerts, or safety warning lights—to fail to display properly, thereby increasing the risk of traffic accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has confirmed this safety hazard. Both companies are cooperating with regulators to implement the necessary recall measures to ensure driver safety.
