Hyundai is recalling over 600,000 vehicles in the United States due to two safety-related issues. Of these, 568,576 Palisade SUVs are being recalled because the third-row side curtain airbags may deploy abnormally during a collision. Additionally, 41,651 vehicles are being recalled due to a malfunctioning instrument cluster display. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on January 29 that a remedy for the side curtain airbag issue is still under development, while the display problem will be resolved through a software update.
