Bentley has recently unveiled the new Continental GT S, a high-performance variant added to the fourth-generation Continental GT lineup, positioned between the base model and the GT Speed. The car is powered by a plug-in hybrid system combining a 4.0-liter V8 engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 670 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 306 km/h. With an all-electric range of 50 kilometers, it supports zero-emission driving. The Continental GT S debuts several features within the model line, including rear-wheel steering, an electronic limited-slip differential, and a 48-volt active anti-roll bar system borrowed from the GT Speed. Exterior highlights include a unique black styling package, while the interior offers two-tone seats and piano-black trim. Bentley states that this powertrain now outperforms the previous W12 engine in terms of performance. Currently, Bentley’s product portfolio includes both conventional internal combustion and plug-in hybrid models, with the brand planning to launch its first all-electric vehicle later this year.
