Xiaomi Auto recently announced that its new SU7 Max completed a 24-hour endurance challenge, covering 4,264 kilometers with the battery temperature consistently maintained within an efficient and safe range throughout the test. The vehicle features an upgraded thermal management system derived from the SU7 Ultra, equipped with a 45cc compressor, a 28kW electric drive cooling system, dual 400W cooling fans, and water pumps with a combined power output of 330W. It also adopts an active 3D oil-cooled electric drive cooling system and a dual large-surface liquid-cooled battery design, achieving a heat exchange area of 8 square meters to prevent overheating even during ultra-high-speed driving. Xiaomi emphasized that this challenge represented an extreme test of the vehicle’s triple-electric system—encompassing performance, range, fast charging, and durability—requiring sustained high-speed driving at 240 km/h, long-range capability, rapid charging, and highly efficient energy management.
