On January 30, Mercedes-Benz globally debuted the all-new S-Class sedan in celebration of its 140th anniversary. The new model features a larger illuminated grille, an illuminated upright star emblem, and micro-LED digital headlights that extend the lighting range by 40%. It also introduces two exclusive paint finishes: "Black Starry Sky" and "Deep Sea Silver." Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 14.4-inch central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch passenger entertainment display, and dual 13.1-inch high-definition screens for rear passengers, creating a "mobile office cabin." Ambient lighting comprising 250 LEDs and a 1,690-watt 4D surround sound system further elevate the luxury experience. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle is outfitted with 10 cameras, 5 radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, and comes standard with the MB.DRIVE driver assistance system, supporting lane centering and lane-change assist functions. Powertrain options include V8, inline-six, and plug-in hybrid variants. The V8 engine delivers a maximum output of 537 horsepower, while the inline-six produces up to 640 Nm of torque in overboost mode. All models are equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid system and an integrated starter-generator (ISG) motor. Additional features include AIRMATIC air suspension, rear-wheel active steering (±10 degrees), and Magic Body Control, ensuring an optimal balance between ride comfort and dynamic handling.
