Škoda has recently released official spy shots of its all-new electric SUV, the Epiq. Built on the short-wheelbase MEB+ front-wheel-drive platform, the Epiq is positioned as a compact SUV and is expected to launch in mid-2026 with a starting price of approximately €25,000. The spy photos reveal that the Epiq features a tall body and short wheelbase, retaining design elements from the concept car such as the stepped front fascia, full-width LED light bar, flush door handles, and roof rails. The rear end continues the concept’s styling language, equipped with a贯穿-style taillight bar, a shark-fin antenna, and a rear spoiler. Measuring around 4.1 meters in length, the Epiq offers five-seat seating and a trunk capacity of 475 liters, expandable to 1,344 liters when the rear seats are folded down. Powertrain options include two battery types: a 37 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack and a 52 kWh ternary lithium battery. Under the CLTC cycle, the maximum range reaches up to 425 km, with motor outputs ranging from 85 kW to 166 kW. The Epiq is likely to be a sister model to the Volkswagen ID. Cross, further strengthening the Volkswagen Group’s presence in the compact all-electric SUV segment.
