On January 30, Bentley unveiled the Bentayga X Concept, a special-edition concept car emphasizing an "extreme off-road" design. Based on the Bentayga Speed, this non-production model aims to explore the market potential for rugged, luxury off-road SUVs and could emerge as a potential rival to vehicles like the Land Rover Defender OCTA. The concept features a 55 mm increase in ride height, a 120 mm wider track, a ground clearance of 310 mm, and a wading depth exceeding 550 mm. It rides on 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Visually, it stands out with Alpine White paint, white-finished wheels, four auxiliary spotlights, dual tow hooks, and a roof-mounted storage compartment housing an electric go-kart—enhancing its adventurous character. Under the hood, it retains the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 641 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Paired with an Akrapovič exhaust system, it delivers the brand’s signature exhilarating soundtrack.
