At XPeng Motors' internal 2026 annual meeting, founder He Xiaopeng stated that AI will be the most certain and longest-lasting technological trend over the next 30 to 50 years. He noted that the automotive industry is entering a new phase of deep integration with AI, where intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving will converge into a "super intelligence." XPeng has designated 2026 as the "pivotal year for the commercialization of physical AI" and is focusing on four key areas: automobiles, AI, autonomous driving, and humanoid robots. He Xiaopeng emphasized that XPeng is confident it will become the first company to seize the "DeepSeek moment" in autonomous driving, driving large-scale real-world applications of AI technology.
