Recently, official images of BYD Ocean Network's all-new "8 Series Dual Flagships"—the mid-to-large-sized coupe Seal 08 and the rugged-styled mid-to-large SUV Sea Lion 08—have been revealed. Both models are equipped with a rear-wheel steering system, effectively reducing turning radius and enhancing handling agility. BYD officially unveiled these two models at its Ocean Day 4th Anniversary event in December 2024, with plans to debut them in the first quarter of 2026. Official details regarding powertrain specifications and range have not yet been disclosed, but as key additions to the Ocean Network’s premium product lineup, the two new vehicles have drawn significant attention.
