Yu Yuefeng, General Manager of the Dongfeng Yipai Marketing Division under Dongfeng Motor Group, revealed today that the brand’s new high-performance coupe will be the first model to feature Dongfeng’s self-developed hybrid solid-liquid (semi-solid-state) battery. This vehicle is a “fully equipped” collaboration with Huawei and boasts a range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. The new car is scheduled to begin deliveries in the second half of this year, marking a significant breakthrough for Dongfeng in high-energy-density battery technology and accelerating its strategic push into the premium electric vehicle segment.
