GAC Toyota recently released its January sales figures, reporting total sales of 63,648 vehicles, an increase year-over-year. Among these, the Camry sold 17,426 units, up 17% year-over-year, while the Sienna recorded sales of 9,133 units, a 35% year-over-year increase. The much-anticipated all-new mid-to-large-size electric sedan, the bZ7, is set to officially launch in March. Positioned as a “premium electric flagship,” it targets the RMB 200,000 price segment. Developed under the leadership of Toyota’s China team, the bZ7 features a HarmonyOS cockpit and Momenta’s R6 intelligent driving assistance system. It is equipped with Huawei’s DriveONE dual-motor electric drive system, delivering a maximum output of 207 kW. The vehicle offers two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options—88.13 kWh and 71.35 kWh—with a maximum CLTC-rated range of up to 710 kilometers. Its chassis incorporates dual-chamber air springs, enabling independent adjustment of ride height and suspension firmness. Additionally, it features an “intelligent preview” function that proactively scans road conditions ahead and automatically adjusts the suspension accordingly.
