At the company's annual meeting, XPeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng stated that AI will be the dominant wave over the next 30 to 50 years, and that automobiles and AI are entering a new era of cross-domain integration. He noted that intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving will converge into a "super intelligence." Emphasizing XPeng's long-term focus on physical AI—simultaneously investing in physics, AI, computing power, and data—he highlighted the company’s unique advantages and expressed confidence that XPeng will become China’s first company to seize the "DeepSeek moment" in autonomous driving. He further outlined XPeng’s next strategic milestone: evolving comprehensively into a global physical AI technology company. This transformation will leverage a unified AI technology framework to power diverse robotic forms—including smart vehicles, humanoid robots, and flying cars—and bring them to global markets. Previously, at its January 8 launch event, XPeng announced plans to achieve mass production of physical AI by 2026, alongside deploying its second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) system in vehicles, launching Robotaxi operations, and commencing mass production of both humanoid and flying cars.
