Dongfeng Yipai delivered a strong performance in January, with sales doubling to 21,000 units—a 145% year-over-year increase—making it the fastest-growing among emerging EV brands. As a brand still in its growth phase, this achievement highlights a significant boost in both product competitiveness and market recognition. According to official statements, 2026 will be Yipai’s “big product year,” during which it plans to launch five to six new models in collaboration with Dongfeng Fengshen, all fully equipped with Huawei’s comprehensive “full-stack” technologies, including Qiankun ADS Pro intelligent driving system and HarmonySpace 5 powered by HarmonyOS. In the second half of this year, Yipai will roll out three new models in quick succession: a large six-seater SUV branded as “the first ‘full-spec Huawei’ SUV for young consumers,” scheduled for delivery in Q3; a new family-oriented SUV prioritizing comfort, set to launch in Q4; and a high-performance “full-spec Huawei” coupe featuring a self-developed semi-solid-state battery offering over 1,000 km of range, which will also make its debut soon. These launches are expected to provide strong momentum for the brand’s continued growth.
