On February 1, BYD released its sales figures for January 2026: total sales reached 210,051 units, maintaining its position as the leader in China's new energy vehicle (NEV) market. Of this total, 205,518 units were passenger vehicles, while overseas and pickup truck sales hit 100,009 units, up 43.3% year-over-year. To date, BYD’s cumulative NEV sales have surpassed 15.3 million units. By brand, the Dynasty and Ocean series contributed 177,522 units, Fangchengbao sold 21,581 units, Denza delivered 6,002 units, and Yangwang handed over 413 units. This robust sales performance has further solidified BYD’s leading position in the new energy vehicle sector.
