Bentley unveiled the Bentayga X concept—a rugged, off-road-focused version of its Bentayga SUV—for the first time at the FAT Ice Race event in Zell am See, Austria. Based on the high-performance Bentayga Speed, the concept is powered by a 641-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and features upgraded 22-inch forged wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, a raised suspension offering 12.2 inches of ground clearance, a track widened by nearly 5 inches, and a wading depth approaching 2 feet. Visually, it sports flared wheel arches, extensive auxiliary lighting, a roof-mounted cargo rack, and even includes an electric go-kart for teenagers. Bentley stated that this move aims to gauge market interest in a truly capable luxury off-roader. As consumer demand grows for SUVs with genuine off-road prowess, the concept could enter production, further expanding the Bentayga lineup and boosting sales.
