Since its launch on September 20, 2023, NIO's all-new ES8 has reached the milestone of 60,000 deliveries in just 134 days. According to Yu Dongming, General Manager of NIO Anhui, the model achieved monthly deliveries of 17,646 units in January 2024 alone. Available in both six- and seven-seat configurations, the ES8 is priced between RMB 406,800 and RMB 446,800, with a battery-as-a-service (BaaS) option starting from RMB 298,800. As one of the largest all-electric SUVs in the Chinese market, the new ES8 measures 5,280 mm in length with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. It features the Skyline panoramic display, a horizontally oriented central touchscreen, and an upgraded NOMI AI assistant, along with a total of 111 physical buttons throughout the cabin. Powered by NIO’s full-domain 900V high-voltage architecture, the dual-motor setup delivers a peak output of 520 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 3.97 seconds. The vehicle offers a CLTC-rated range of 635 km and comes standard with a 102 kWh 4C battery pack. It will also support NIO’s self-developed 120 kWh 5C ultra-fast charging battery in the future.
