BYD recently released its January sales figures: total vehicle sales reached 210,051 units, of which 205,518 were passenger vehicles. Overseas sales performed exceptionally well, with exports of passenger cars and pickups hitting 100,009 units—a 43.3% year-over-year increase—marking the first time monthly overseas sales surpassed 100,000 units. To date, BYD’s cumulative new energy vehicle (NEV) sales have reached 15.3 million units. By brand, the Dynasty and Ocean series together sold 177,522 units; Fangchengbao sold 21,581 units, surging 247% year-over-year; Denza sold 6,002 units; and Yangwang sold 413 units.
