NIO's sub-brand Onvo has officially entered the overseas market, with its first stop in Uzbekistan. On February 2, NIO announced that the Onvo L90 and L60 models made their debut in Uzbekistan. On January 31, together with local automotive group ABU SAHIY MOTORS, NIO opened its first national flagship store—“NIO Space | Tashkent”—in Tashkent, marking NIO’s official entry into the Central Asian market. In addition to Onvo models, NIO’s own-brand vehicles—including the ET9, EL8, EL6, ET5, and ET5 Touring—were also launched simultaneously, with the Onvo L90 and L60 positioned as key models for market focus. With NIO’s support, ABU SAHIY MOTORS plans to accelerate the development of its local service network and charging infrastructure and introduce localized user services. This move, adopting a national master-agent model, represents the first step in Onvo’s global strategy. Later this year, Onvo will also enter the Americas market for the first time through a partnership with Costa Rica’s largest electric vehicle dealer.
