On February 2, BYD Fangchengbao rolled out the ninth OTA update for the Bao 5 and the sixth OTA update for the Bao 8, introducing six major core upgrades. A new intelligent motion-sickness prevention feature has been added, which integrates the suspension, braking, air conditioning, and fragrance systems to alleviate passenger discomfort. Dynamic floating indicators are displayed on the BYD Pad to further enhance this experience. The "Car Life" ecosystem now integrates with Ant Forest, enabling users to collect green energy via the Alipay mini-program and redeem it for exclusive virtual saplings. HUAWEI HiCar now supports Mirror Mode, allowing smartphones running HarmonyOS 6.0 or higher to mirror their screens onto the vehicle’s infotainment system. Additionally, ICCOA Carlink now adds mirror support for Samsung devices running One UI 8.0 or later. Parking functionality has been optimized, allowing users to switch between front-in and rear-in directions when parking in certain parallel spaces. Moreover, users can now customize the vehicle-locking sound effect by uploading personalized audio alerts, adding a touch of fun to the driving experience.
